What is everyone'due south obsession with zombie apocalypses, anyway?

It started style back when, I'm sure. But it really blew upwards with The Walking Dead and The Game of Thrones' White Walkers.

There's no denying that our gild has an near disturbing fascination with shambling corpses that eat people's brains (and hearts, and guts, and spleens…) and it definitely shows. Take a look at how many games and TV shows fit zombies into their storyline.

Well rather than keep wracking my brain over it, I decided to bring it into my Sim'southward globe.

And so can yous!

1. Zombie Stitches by Pipco

It'southward a correct shame these stitches only work for Female person Sims, because they genuinely sell the character.

A vanilla TS4 game does take some face scars and face markings that you can use for the zombie'due south face up, but the only body markings it offers are tattoos.

Pretty limited, if you inquire me.

You're telling me zombies don't get shot in the gut?

Anyway, these Zombie Stitches past Pipco come in two swatches which change the position and orientation of the stitches.

And they await excellent placed on top of sickly gray or pale greenish skin. I know the issue might look more "Frankenstein's monster" than zombie, but I'd argue both fall nether the category of "shambling, supernatural undead."

This creator does a lot of supernatural/otherworldly CC for The Sims 4, and they're always high-quality.

This one is no different.

The CC adds 25 new non-default skin colors that work on all ages, all genders, and are set up to random (so your townies can have them, too).

Twenty of these are normal human swatches that "fill in the gaps" of EA's skin color spectrum, to quote the creator.

5 of them are supernatural skins that yous'd be hard-pressed to recreate—even with the crazy colors that already exist in base of operations game TS4.

Two of these 5 skins look like sickly, anemic undeath (in the best way)—absolutely perfect for creating zombie Sims.

iii. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines – Pisha'due south Claret by Satterlly

I know this says "vampire" in the title. But the blood spatters around the mouth – paired with the blood spatters on the hands and chest – genuinely piece of work for brain-hunting, flesh-eating undead.

With the right expressions, poses, and CAS items, these swatches can exist used to make a zombie look similar it only feasted on fresh (human) meat.

Alternatively, they can besides be used to create zombie-slaying-vampire-Sims in CAS—which is what I used them for.

Seriously, endeavour these blood swatches with whatever of the pose packs I listed here, and the "headless" CC by Natalia-Auditore (coming farther upward in this list). It makes for pretty gruesome (just epic) photos.

iv. Sims iv Zombie Apocalypse Mod: Last Escape by sacrificialmods

I of the best Zombie Apocalypse mods, hands-down.

But with new skills, new items, new pie menus, a new Zombie Hunter trait, and much more, this mod is past far 1 of the most extensive ones out at that place.

This mod turns whatever boondocks you're playing in, into zombie central.

Random townies will plough into zombies once the apocalypse starts. And more will get bitten and turn forth the manner.

The first method will trigger a social event with goals, and I highly recommend that for first-fourth dimension players. It'll give you more detailed instructions on how to go almost the rest of the mod.

The new items and events added can even dictate your Sim'southward emotional states.

For case, wearing a Gas Mask will give your Sim a Confident mood.

Being nigh a zombie will Terrify your Sim.

And getting bit turns your Sim into a playable zombie with a Zombified country—and a abiding hungering for human flesh!

As mentioned, this mod too adds a pretty sugariness Zombie Hunter trait that you can requite your Sim in-game.

Having this trait gives your Sim a "higher take a chance of survival." Their shots have higher chances to kill Zombies, and they're more probable to escape a Zombie's grasp without getting bitten. Sims with this trait also won't be Terrified of zombies nearby.

If this all sounds basically similar a Resident Evil crossover, well, you'd be surprised how many Resident Evil styled mods have fabricated information technology into TS4!

Note: the modern is a little gruesome due to all the claret, exploding heads, Zombie bites, and general zombie-apocalypse-related violence. Simply information technology's palatable. And really, actually cool if y'all're into that sort of stuff.

5. Headless Outfit past Natalia-Auditore

Honestly ane of my favorite items on this list.

fourscore% because it's and then clever and so well crafted, and xx% because it'due south freaking hilarious when your Sim isn't posing every bit a severed head.

They look similar people goofing effectually with a dark-green screen.

What this outfit does is plow your Sim's trunk invisible—save for the feet and head. The effect is a ghastly floating head that is, equally far equally Sim standards become, pretty freaking believable.

A headless head isn't necessarily exclusive to zombies, but in a zombie-apocalypse-themed photoshoot? It still works.

It's a hat that acts as invisibility cloak for your Sim's head.

The result has your Sim shambling effectually as a headless undead being.

The effect is, similar, three times as cool if you lot combine it with some sick poses.

And we've got some zombie-themed pose packs coming up (one of which is from the aforementioned creator as this and the headless outfit) that perfectly fit the bill.

Alternatively, if y'all're into supernatural dark-ish humor, you could just leave your Sim headless and play the game as normal.

I promise that them being headless doesn't affect their coding at all.

7. Walking With a Head by Natalia-Auditore

This pose pack is from the same creator as the "Headless Outfit" and "Headless Accessory" CC, and it's perfect for Sims who thrive in a zombie apocalypse.

Considering there'due south always that 1 character famous (or infamous) for their particularly vicious zombie-killing methods.

These poses are for those Sims that tin cutting through hordes of zombie swarms and emerge in gut-covered, slime-soaked victory.

The Sims that express mirth in the face of shambling undead and accept an incredibly impressive kill count.

Their methods may be a tad bit brutal, and they're well-nigh definitely slightly unhinged. Just they're still zombie-killing machines.

Everyone wants them on their side.

That's what these pose packs are made for.

The kings and queens of the zombie apocalypse, casually walking away from a burning pile of undead corpses with their bloody trophies in hand (which you can replicate by using Natalia-Auditore's Headless Outfit CC, linked earlier).

Is information technology a little too gruesome? Perchance.

Is information technology cool, though? Heck yeah.

8. Zombie Dinner Pose Pack by Lady Kendal Sims

This pose pack captures those terrifying moments when y'all realize the Sim hunched over isn't in pain—he's just turning.

Into a brain-eating zombie!

This one's a piddling more SFW and a little less gruesome than Natalia-Auditore'due south Walking with a Head pose packs (from earlier), only that doesn't make it whatsoever less perfect for a zombie game.

It works even ameliorate if y'all pair it with some bloody makeup around the arms, mouth, and confront (may I recommend Satterlly'due south Pisha'southward Blood CC?).

Placing the teleport standees for these poses is a little tricky (especially for the 3rd pose, where the zombie is bitter downwardly on the Sim's arm), so I recommend following a general rule of "place them as close as physically possible."

nine. Zombie Apocalypse Pose Pack by Simduction

Simduction'south Zombie Apocalypse poses perfectly replicate the archetype shambling, brainless, living dead ghouls we run into in cartoons and animated movies.

The exaggerated facial expression, the jolting uncoordinated walk, neck bent at 90 degrees, arms and legs akimbo—it'south the whole package.

If you're replicating a zombie attack, these highly characteristic zombie poses can do no wrong.

You lot've got four walking poses, two ground poses (as in, your Zombie!Sim comes crawling out of the footing), and three variations of the typical arm-rising-from-the-grave shot.

These are extremely fun to play around with.

And if you're going for some fun apocalyptic humor, I highly recommend using the tertiary variation of the Zombie-arm poses.

ten. A Monster Inside Me (Part i) past KareemZiSims

I have never seen a mod or CC quite like this terrifyingly gruesome slice from KareemZiSims, so I have to give mad kudos.

A Monster Inside Me (Part 1) literally plants a brute inside your Sim's caput, and allows information technology to accept over half their face.

At least, that's what it looks like.

It's even worse because the monster'due south eye moves in sync with your Sim'south, giving it even more intense Alien/Parasite vibes.

In that location are 10 variations for this CC piece, and each ane depicts a different monster. To create a Zombie!Sim, I recommend using either the commencement swatch ("Flesh-Eating Parasite") or the second swatch ("Zombie").
